How to implement

Do I need to tag every product myself?

Yes — but it takes seconds, and it’s simply built into your goods-receiving process. No extra step, no extra effort.

What does MedSupply provide for RFID tagging?

We provide the tags pre-programmed with your product data — article number, expiry, lot number — ready to use. You simply attach them to the product as part of goods receiving; no manual encoding or extra software step on your side.

How long does implementation take?

In most cases, just one week. We start by assessing your entire warehouse, tag every product currently in stock, and roll out the software — training included — so you’re fully operational fast.

Is staff training included?

Yes, training is a core part of our service. It typically takes just 30 minutes — MedTrack is designed to be simple and intuitive right from day one.

Can MedTrack integrate with my existing ERP systems?

Yes. We offer a range of pre-configured interfaces, and we can build additional ones if your systems call for it.

How are preset/reorder inventory levels initially set up — by us or by MedSupply?

You set your minimum stock levels once — from there, MedTrack takes over, monitoring every article automatically and recommending reorders exactly when it’s time.

Can I keep my existing suppliers?

Absolutely — you keep the suppliers you already work with. If you’re open to it, we can also suggest alternatives that may offer better pricing or support.

Which scanning method — RFID tags or smart scales — is right for my setup, and do I need new equipment?

It’s your choice. MedTrack supports both RFID tags and smart scales, and the two work seamlessly together — so you can pick whichever fits your workflow best.

How is inventory data secured, and does MedTrack comply with healthcare data protection regulations?

Your data is stored on military-grade servers right here in Switzerland, with rigorous penetration testing every week. On top of that, we fully comply with all relevant healthcare data protection regulations.
